షోడస కళానిధికి షోడశోపచారములు జాడతోడ నిచ్చలును సమర్పయామి
అలరు విశ్వాత్మకున కావాహన మిదె సర్వ నిలయున కాసనము నెమ్మి నిదే అలగంగా జనకున కర్ఘ్యపాద్యాచమనాలు జలధి శాయికిని మజ్జనమిదే
వరపీతాంబరునకు వస్త్రాలంకారమిదె సరి శ్రీమంతునకు భూషణము లివే ధరణీధరునకు గంధపుష్ప ధూపములు తిర మిదె కోటిసూర్యతేజునకు దీపము
అమృతమథనునకు నదివో నైవేద్యము గమి(రవి)జంద్రునేత్రునకు కప్పురవిడెము అమరిన శ్రీవేంకటాద్రి మీది దేవునికి తమితో ప్రదక్షిణాలు దండములు నివిగో

Alaru visvaatmakuna kaavaahana mide sarva Nilayuna kaasanamu nemmi nidae Alagamgaa janakuna karghyapaadyaachamanaalu Jaladhi Saayikini majjanamidae
Varapeetaambarunaku vastraalamkaaramide Sari sreemamtunaku bhooshanamu livae Dharaneedharunaku gamdhapushpa dhoopamulu Tira mide kotisooryataejunaku deepamu
Amrtamathanunaku nadivo naivaedyamu Gami(ravi)jamdrunaetrunaku kappuravidemu Amarina sreevaemkataadri meedi

Alaru Viswathmukunaku Aavahanamidhe: Alaru: to please Viswa+Athmunaku: one who is present every where in the universe Avahanam:Requesting God to come with in us
The god who pleases all our wishes and who is omnipresent, i am doin Aavahanam
sarva nilayuna kaasanamu nemminidhe: sarva nilayunaku is once again omnipresent aasanamu nemminidhe: i am offering aasanam(the place where one sits..like lotus is the aasana for goddess saraswathi)
I am offering Aasanam to the all pervading god.
ala ganga janakunakargya paadhyachamanalu: ganga janakunaku: Janaka means father.Our puranas say that River Ganga is born at the foot of sri Hari.So we consider Sri Hari as the father of ganga. Argyam:water used for washing hands.It is washing out the past karmas (deeds), and reaching the state of purna Ananda paadyam : This is to wash the dirt on the feet of the deity Achamanam: Sipping a little water, in the prescribed manner, for self-purification, remembering the Supreme All-pervading Reality.
I am offering argyam,paadhyam and achamanam to the Srimannarayana(Ganga's father)
jaladhi saayikini majjanamidhe Jaladhi Saayi: the once who is resting on the Paala Samudhram Majjanamidhe: Again sprinkling water over oneself with the Mantras praying for welfare here in the world and highest spiritual attainment hereafter.
So Annamacharya says he is offering Marjanam to the God.
