చెడిన మానవులను చేపట్టి రక్షించి,
కడకు దేర్చిన'ట్టి ఘనుడు, తలప,

131. Water mingled with milk bears the appearance of milk; and thus becomes acceptable in sacred rites : thus, by intercourse with the pure and excellent shall even the foolish attain perfection.*[1]
132. The rich man who takes the destitute by the hand and rescues him, shall ultimately, in the presence of the glorious Siva, †[2] shall unceasingly dwell in happiness.

- ↑ † The term Siva is generally used in this author for God; but in several passages he derides the personages of the Hindu triad; and evidently believed in one God alone. There is a దుస్సంధిమి in the third line; also in verse 134. The reader will perceive such flaws as he proceeds without their being pointed out.
