1824. మొగుడు కొట్టినందుకు కాదుగాని, తోడికోడలు దెప్పుతున్నదని విచారము.

- Ridicule is feared more than pain.
1825. మొగుడు కొట్టినా కొట్టెను, ముక్కు చీమిడి పోయెను.

1826. మొగుణ్ని కొట్టి మొగసాల యెక్కినది.
- Beating her husband and then lodging a complaint against him.

- Said of people wrangling without reason.
1828. మొదటికి మోసము, లాభానికి గుద్దులాట.
- Fighting for the profits after losing the capital.
- Neglecting great things for small.
