TELUGU PROVERBS.
1769. ముదిమి తప్పితే మూడు వర్నాలు.
- When extreme old age is reached there are three castes.
- The distinctive rules of the three castes are no longer observed.

1770. ముదిముప్పున అంగిటముల్లు.
- The quinsy in extreme old age.
1771. ముద్దు ముఖము గరుడసేవా.
- Is your sweet face like Garudasêva?
- Garudasêva is the name of a feast held at Conjeveram in honor of Veradarazulu (Vishnu) whose vehicle is the man bird (Garuda).
- Said ironically to an ugly fellow.
1772. ముద్దులు గులకరా ముదిపెండ్లి కొడకా అంటే, పెండ్లికి వచ్చిన పేరంటాండ్లు అందరూ నా పెద్ద పెండ్లాలు అన్నట్టు.
- When an elderly bridegroom was jokingly asked to say something funny, he replied “ All the married ladies who have come to the marriage are my old wives.”
- A person making himself ridiculous.
1773. మున్నూటి కులానకు ముప్పూ లేదు, మొండి కాలికి చెప్పూ లేదు.
- The pedigree of a family numbering three hundred branches cannot be traced nor can a shoe be made to fit a maimed foot.
- A hopeless task.
