1774. మున్నూరు శిఖలయినా కూడ వచ్చునుగాని, మూడు కొప్పులు కూడ రాదు.
- Three hundred Śikhas (i.e. men) may come together, but three Koppus (i.e. women) should not get together.
- Śikha is the top-lock worn by men and Koppu is a woman's chignon.
1775. ముప్ఫయి తట్టల పేడ మోసే పోలికి, మూడు పుంజాల దండ బరువా.
- Would a necklace of three skeins of thread be heavy for P611 who carries thirty baskets of cowdung?
1776. ముప్ఫయి యేండ్ల ఆడదీ, మూడేండ్ల మొగవాడూ వకటి.
- A woman thirty years old and a man three years old are one [in strength].
1777. మురదన్న సందేహము నిస్సందేహము.
- Muradanna’s doubt is cleared.
- Said of a man who while wavering and doubting about some undertaking is forestalled by another.
1778. మురిపెముకు మూడు నల్ల పూసలు, కొలిక్కి వక తిరగట్రాయి.
- Three black beads for affection, and a mill stone for a clasp.
- When a man was told that out of affection three black beads had been tied round a boy's neck, he said " Then use a mill stone for a clasp."

1779. మురిపెము తిరిపెము చేటు, ముసలి మొగుడు ప్రాణముకు చేటు.
- Encouraging beggars causes a great expenditure, an old husband is the plague of one’s life.
