1927 డిసెంబర్‌ 19న ఉరి తీస్తారనగా, 27 సంవత్సరాల ఆ యువకుడు దేశ ప్రజలనుద్ధ్దేశించి రాసిన ఓ లేఖలో, .మీరు ఏ మతానికి, సంప్రదాయానికి చెందినవారైనా సరే దేశసేవలో సహరించండి. వృధాగా పరస్పరం కలహించకండి. ఒకవళ దారులు వేరైనా అందరి లక్ష్యంఒకటే. అన్ని పనులు ఒకే లక్ష్యాన్ని సాధించేందుకు సాధానాలు. అలాంటప్పుడు ఈ వ్యర్థపు క్లొాటలూ, కుమ్ములాటలు ఎందుకు? ఐకమత్యంతో దేశంలోని దొరతనాన్నిఎదిరించండి. దేశాన్ని స్వతంత్రం చేయండి..' అన్నారు.
చివరకు నా మాతృభూమి నిత్యం స్వతంత్రంగా ఉండాలి. నాదేముంది నేను ఉండొచ్చు ఉండకపోవచ్చు అంటూ మాతృభూమి స్ధభాగ్యాన్ని అనుక్షణం కాంక్షిస్తూ అమరలోకాలకు వెళ్ళిపోయారు.('..Hamaara watan rahe sadaa khayam aur aajad, hamara kya, ham rahe, rahe, narahe..').

అగ్నియుగం రెండవ దశలో జుగాంతర్‌ పార్టీకి చెందిన మౌల్వీ గయాజుద్దీన్‌, నశీరుద్దీన్‌ అహ్మద్‌, అబ్దుల్‌ ఖాదిర్‌, అనుశీలన పార్టికి చెందిన అల్తాఫ్‌ అలీ, మహమ్మద్‌ ఇస్మాయిల్‌, జహీరుద్దీన్‌ తదితర విప్లవకారులు ఎందరో పలు ప్రాంతాలలో విస్పులింగాలై విజృంభించారు.
