స్వీయ చ రి త్ర ము הטc పారిశాలలోనే పనిచేసెద మని రాయసము వేంకట శివుఁడు గారును వల్లూరి నరసింహ రాయ ఁడు-గారును తవు సవతిని చెలిపిరి కాని వేంకట రత్నము గారు మొదలైన వారి కెవరి సౌమ్లను వారికిఁ బంపివేసి నా యేర్పాటుల నన్నిటిని త్రిప్పివేసికొన్నందున వప్పటికే కార్యము మించిపోయెను. వేయిరూపాయ లను వాగ్దానముచేసినగంజాము వేంకట రత్నము గారు కాకినాడలాr న్యాయ వాదిగా నుండి విశేషవి త్తమార్షించి దేశాభిమాని యయి చెన్నపురి దొరతనము వారి శాసన నిర్ధాణ సభలో సభ్యులయి కీ_ శేషు లయిన యుదారపురుషులు. ఈయన నా యందు గౌరవము కలవారయి యుండి 1896 వ సంవత్సరమునందు నా కాపేరిట కాకినాడ కాలేజిలో విద్యార్థి వేతనమును స్థాపించుట కుద్దేశించి తన రెండువేలరూపాయల భీమా పత్రమును పంపినట్టు కార్యదర్శిగారు నా పేరు వ్రాసి నప్పుడు నన్నువిడిచి ですゃぎoエo నర్ఘ తరు లయిన వారి పేరిట స్థాపించవలసిన దని నేను కోరఁగా నా కిట్టు బదులు వ్రాసిరి “I came to the resolution you refer to after long deliberation. I do not know.if I ever in all my life came to a sounder resolution than this one. I am sure you stand in need of no memorial of the kind, but you will not certainly grudge me the honour of being one of your humble, yet ardent, admirers. You cannot realize how much I used to admire you when I was quite a boy— though I never came under your direct influence—how far your example has influenced my public life and how admiration has grown as I saw more and more of you.
