కూటికి వగ లేక కూర్చున్న' వారికి,
నా' డు దాని మీది యాస గలదె?
యన్న - మదము చేతన'న్ని మదంబులౌ. వి. 129
అన్ని జాడలు' డిగి యానంద కాముడై
నిన్ను నమ్మ జాలు, నిష్ఠ తోడ,
నిన్ను నమ్మ ముక్తి నిక్కంబు, నీయాస. వి. 130
ఒడ్డు పొడుగు గలిగి, గడ్డంబు పొడుగైన,
దాన - గుణము లేక దాత యగునె?
యెనుము గొప్పదై' న, యేనుగు బోలునా? వి. 131
సతుల జూచి, నరుడు సౌఖ్యంబు గోరును;
గతుల గాన లేడు, కర్మమందు
గతుల సతుల వలన గానంగ లేరయా. వి. 132
129. Can they who have no means of subsistence, feel any desire for women? all our lusts originate in fulness of meat. *[1]
130. He who gives up every other object, and seeking happiness alone, trusts in Thee with full reliance; by that faith shall (I protest by Thee) gain perfection.
131. Be he stout or tall, or wearing a long beard, devoid of liberality he is no noble: however large a buffalo be, it cannot compare with an elephant,
132. Looking on women, a man desires happiness, but cannot foresee what will thereby befall him; by reason of women they are blinded to their destiny. †[2]
