మహర్షి:- శరీరమునందలి యవయవములలోనే భేదములున్నవి. పాదమును తాకినచో చేయి మలినమగును. ఒక్కొక్క యవయవము తన కార్యమును నిర్వర్తించుచున్నది; నీవు భేదముల నేల కాదందువు?
ఆ.సా.:- వర్ణభేదము అక్రమమని ప్రజలు చింతించుచున్నారు.
మహర్షి:- అట్టి భేదములు తోచని దశకు నీవు వ్యక్తిగతముగా చేరుకొని సుఖముగా నుండవచ్చును. ప్రపంచమును మార్చుటకు నీ వెట్లు ఆశింపగలవు. నీవు ప్రయత్నించినను నెగ్గలేవు. కావ్యకంఠ గణపతిశాస్త్రి మంత్రములను ఉపదేశించి బ్రాహ్మణులుగా చేయుటకై హరిజనులకు అవకాశ మొసంగెను. కాని హరిజనులు దాని నందు కొనుటకు ముందునకు రాలేదు.

507 An Arya Samajist from Bangalore with a companion visited Sri Maharshi. He asked:
D: I do not approve of the caste system. Mahathma's opinion is valuable as guidance. I want your blessings in my attempts.
M: Mahathma has told you to seek and find yourself. you will not do it but require his blessings.
