now prepared to devote the sale proceeds of my books and any remunerations that I may get in case of my being made an examiner in connection with University or other examinations, to the construction of the Town Hall for the speedy completion of which I intend raising loans. After completion of the building and discharge of all the debts contracted for this purpose, I will hand over the building for the use of the Rajahmundry public to a committee of respectable townsmen, reserving to myself the right of using the Hall for my lectures and weekly, fortnightly or monthly meetings organized by me in preference to those of others who may wish to have their lectures and meetings, on the same day and at the same time. Tłut I now promise that I will gladly place the Hall at the disposal of the Rajahmundry public without claiming any right whatever for myself, if any gentlemen come forward to pay me all the moneys I spend and the debts I contract for the construction of the Hall on the condition of placing the Hall in charge of a committee consisting of at least half a dozen respectable townsinen for the use of the Rajahmundry public without distinction of caste or creed.
