This template renders one or more blocks of text in "fine print", which is a smaller font but not as small as {{smaller}}, with reduced line spacing.
e.g.

To reduce the size of a few words within a block of normal-sized text, use {{smaller}}—this will give you smaller text without breaking up the text, and without interfering in block-level properties like line spacing.
Spanning page breaks[మార్చు]
If you have a fine block that spans a page break, or if you have un-escaped pipes ("|") in the template, you need to use the "split" form of this template: {{fine block/s}} and {{fine block/e}}. This means that only a single "start" and "end" template appear in the transclusion, but each page is also wrapped, using the header and footer fields in the Page: namespace.

You will need to place {{fine block/s}} and {{fine block/e}} in the headers and footers of intermediate pages.

Inline templates are suitable for use within a paragraph, but can't handle paragraph breaks, and do not adjust line spacing. The line heights of fonts greater than 100% increase proportionally with the font size. The line heights of fonts less than 100% are not proportional but inherit the line height of the font at the 100% size. The smaller the font, the greater the distance between rows of text.
