of, (1) Tirumala Mānikyārāya, (2) Mãnūrivāru and (3) Vāsireddivāru. These Kaifiyats furnish considerable information about these Jamindar families. Their genealogical tables are given below. The Jamindars of the Malrājuväri family seem to be of a later origin after A. D. 1712.
I. Repalle Jamindars
The founder of this family was Krishnaveni Tirumalarāya who was originally the viceroy of Kondavidu, under Aliya Rāmarāja. The later was killed in the Rakshasa-Tangadi battle by the combined forces of the Deccan Padshahs. But being pleased with the valour displayed by Tirumalarāya, the Padshah appointed his son Manikyarāya as Mannevāru of the Kondavidu fort.
