వీనిలో మొదటి యుత్తరము వ్రాసిన వేంకటప్పయ్యగారు వితంతువివాహప్రయత్నములో మాకత్యంత సహాయుఁడయి, వివేకవర్ధనిలోని యింగ్లీషుభాగమును వ్రాయుటలో గవర్రాజుగారివలెనే నాకు తోడుపడుచు, ప్రస్తుతము పట్టపరీక్షార్థము చెన్న పురికి పోయియుండి, యెప్పుడువచ్చి మాతో చేరుదునాయని తహతహ పడుచుండినవాఁడు. ఆయన యనుకొన్నట్లు బహువివాహము లొకటి తరువాత నొకటిగానగునని ప్రతీక్షించితిమిగాని మాప్రతిపక్షుల యుపద్రవమున కంతరంగములు సంచలింప ననేకులు ముందుకురాలేక వెనుకంజె వేయఁజూచుచుండిరి. రెండవవారమున బ్రహ్మశ్రీ దివాన్ బహద్దూరు వల్లూరి జగన్నాధరావు పంతులుగారు వ్రాసినట్టు చెన్న పురిలోవలె మాపట్టణములో వితంతువివాహ నిషేధక సమాజము క్రొత్తగా నేర్పడక పోయినను మునుపున్న సమాజమే ప్రతిపక్షులమయిన మావిజయమువలన కోప ఘూర్ణితమయి యపజయావమానలజ్జాప్రేరితమయి యుద్రేకించి ద్విగుణోత్సాహముతో సంస్కారపక్షనిర్మూలనదీక్ష వహించి పాటుపడఁజొచ్చెను.
