'He was one of the first who raised thier voices against the conduct of Mr. Sen in connection with the marriage of his daughter. He has since that time lezt his valuable services to the cause of the Sadharan Brahma Samaj. This man's name has become a house-hold word in the districts of Eastern Bengal, and acts as a spell to awaken the drooping spirit of many a Brahmo's heart.'
(సేనుగారి పుత్రికావివాహ సందర్భములో నాతని నడతకు వ్యతిరేకముగా మాటలాడిన వారిలో గోస్వామియొకఁడు. అప్పటినుండియునతఁడు సాధారణ బ్రహ్మసమాజము విషయమైయమూల్యమైన పనిచేసినాఁడు. పూర్వ బంగాళాదేశమునంగల జిల్లాలలోఁ ప్రతిగృహమునందును నీతనిపేరు వాడుకలోనున్నది. క్షీణతనందుచున్న ప్రతిబ్రహ్మసమాజికుని హృదయమును మంత్రమువలె నీతనినామము పుష్టికరముచేయుచుండెను.)
