బాలగంగాధర తిలకుల మతమునుబట్టి గ్రీక్కువారికిని మనకును జాలసంబంథము కలదుగదా.
గ్రీక్కుభాషలోనిపురాతన గ్రంధములలో అపొల్లొ (Apollo అనుపదము కాన్పించుచున్నది. దీనినింగూర్చి “ఇండియా ఇన్ గ్రీసుఆర్ట్రూత్ ఇన్ మైథాలజీ (“India in Greece or Truth in Mythology") అను గ్రంధరాజములో నిట్లు వ్రాయబడి యున్నది.

The name Apollonos is the Greek euphonic term of A Balono-ja name of krishna,

అ 'పొల్లొనోన్' అనునది కృష్ణునిపేరగు ఆ 'బలానొజ* అనుదానిని గ్రీక్కులు ఉచ్చారణ సౌకర్యార్ధమై మార్చుకొనిన పదమైయున్నది. (*అ "బలానోజ్" అనునది "బలానుజ"
