మనసు నిల్పిన'ట్టి మర్మజ్ఞుల' గు వారు,
గరిమ మోక్షపదము గన్న వారు;
చెట్టు బెట్టు, ఫలము చేకొనడా' తాను? వి. 75
తను దా దెలుసుట, తత్వము,
తనక' న్యులు బోధసేయ, ధరలో గలరే?
తను దా దెలియకనుండిన,
తనకె' వరున్ దెలుప లేరు, తథ్యము, వేమా. 76
మంచి వారు లేరు, మహి మీద వెదకిన,
కష్టులెందరై'న గలరు భువిని
పసిడి లేదు గాని, పదడెంత లేదయా! 77
మాటలా'డ నేర్చి, మనసు గరుగ జేసి,
పరగ ప్రియము పుట్ట, పలుకకు'న్న,
నొ'కరి చేతి సొమ్ములూ' రక వచ్చునా? వి. 78
75. Those who restrain their hearts, and know the great secret, shall effectually behold the abode of bliss; shall not he who plants a tree, reap its fruit.
76. To know one's self is the chief object; [1] 1s there any other who can explain this to us? If we know not ourselves, none can teach us.
77. The good are rarely found ; the wicked are as numerous as you will; as gold is more rare than dust.
78. If you learn to speak acceptably , and to melt the heart of your protector, and addres him so as to gain his goodwill, you will succeed; but will empty words obtain you any good?
