కన్న - పుత్రునా' స కనకంబు మీదా' స,
స్త్రీల మీది యాస, చిత్తమె'డలి,

యిట్టున' ట్టు పెద్ద యిల్లు గట్టి,

164. Unless thou free thy mind from the love of thy own ‡[3] son, or of gold, or of women, and free thyself from such delusion, thou shalt not see God.
165. After felling the trees, and walling in a spot, and building so large a house, a man is puffed up with pride; and forgets the ruin that awaits him.
