మే యంునను బ్రాహ్మణులకును బ్రాస్త్రణేతరులకును సంభవించిన సామాన్య వినాదమును"గాఁ గల్పించి నా పతిపకులను తన్షిత్రులు కొందఱును త:ు పక మును బలపఱుచుట కయి పాటుపడి కొంతవఱకు సఫలమనోరథు లయిరి হ-eo సంపూర్ణ మనోరథసాఫల్యమును బొందఁజాల రైరి. బంధువుల యొక్క_యు కులమువారియొక్కయు నిర్బంధమును సరకుగొనక బ్రాహ్మణే తరులలో న సేకులు నా పకము న సాక్య మిచ్చిరి. విమర్శముగిసిన విూఁదట ముందుగా దండవిధాయకుఁడు 1891 వ సం|| జూలయి నెల 27 వ తేదిని తీర్పుచెప్పి నా మినాఁద తెచ్చిన యభియోగములను రెంటిని కొట్టివేసెను. ఆ దండవిధాయకుఁ డింటివిూ ఁద రాళ్లు వేయించు విషయములోను నడత మంచిది కాదన్న విషయములోను సేనన్న మాటలు సరియైన వనియే యభిప్రాయ పTడెను, "నా [పతి పషీ యొక్క నడతను గూర్చి తీర్పులో వ్రాయఁబడిన .కొన్ని భాగముల నిందు క్రిందఁ S*ందు పఱుచుచున్నాను.

With regard to the Deft's statement that complainant was not a man of good character, the Defendant states that in making this remark he had in his mind the general reputation of the complainant as a man of adulterous character, untruthful and given to misappropriating money. If the word character “character" is taken to mean merely reputation the Defendant's statement that the complainant was not a man of good character is proved by the evidence to be perfectly true. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

It is contented for the prosecution that the word character as used by the Defendant cannot be taken to mean merely reputation and that Defendant clearly expressed an opinion that complainant's conduct as well as his reputation was bad. The defence have produced a mass of evidence, to prove that complainant's conduct was as such as would lead any reasonable person to suppose that he was dishonest, unprincipled and of loose morals. It would have been sufficient to make out his case, if the Defendant had merely proved a few instances of complainant's bad conduct and I propose to touch only on a few incidents...........................................
