PRAYERS
Having served Vishtnu (the Protector) as the Lord who shines adorned with Laleshmi and the gem of Kousthubhum on His breast, and who has a lotus at His navel, having bowed to Brahma (the Creator) as the Lord who is the Husband of Sarasvathi and who is saluted by all the leading sages, and having worshipped Mahesvara (the grand Director) as the greatest of all the Lords and as the Lord of Gouri, His divine consort who has won his confidence to suoh an extent as to have the rare privilege of occupying no less than half of his own body, I pray, in my heart, to these Three great Representations or Manifestations of the Supreme God, together with their complimentary, many sided Powers, for the sole purpose of securing the grand object of Tranquility to all (the nations of the world).
