సీసము - పొడుముకన్న చుట్టకొంచెము మంచిది.
ఎద్దాని సేవచే నింపు గుల్కెడు తెల్ల బట్టల కెల్లను రట్టు గలుగు
నెద్దాని సేవచే నింపగు తనముక్కు డొక్క బుర్రను బోలి ముక్కు మిగులు
నెద్ధాని సేవ చే నింపుగుల్కెడుతన యింతి ముద్దుల నాడ నీయకుండు
నెద్దాని సేవ చే నద్దము తో నెదుర్కొనఁ జాలు మెద డెల్లం గుళ్లి పోపు,
తే! !! నట్టిపొడుమును బీల్చుట యనభిమతము
చుట్ట గాల్చుట యనఁ గొంత సొగసె గాని
పాడువాసన గల్లెడు వక్త్రమందు
గాన నివి రెండుఁ గూడ యుక్తములు గావు13

I have witnessed a public exhibition by Tirupati Sastri and Venkata Sastri Garu of their wonderful power of aatavadhanam or faculty of attending to fight different things at a time. I consider their power a very wonderful one and every one should avail himself of the opportunity of witnessing an exhibition of it. These gentlemen while possessing the faculty of composing verses can also commit to mentory words and sentences of foreign languages.

I was present at an entertainment given by Ch. Venkata
Sastri and D. Tirupati Sastri and derived great pleasure from their
feats of memory. Professor Loisette must look to his laurels.
