NARA NARAYANA . IGHT back into the womb of Mother Earth, far, far away into the Millenium of perfect life goes the action of our film a Silver Chapter culled from the Golden Pages of History that is Ancient Ind- of the days when paths of men were trodden by the feet of the Gods, and riverbeds and Mountain-tops were annointed by immortal deeds. The thrice sacred city of DWARKA is all gav. The King of seasons "VASANT" has set in and all are busy celebrating its advent. The gayest portion in Dwarka is the Golden Palace of Lord KRISHNA In the spacious gardens of the palace one could hear the sweet voice of SATYA who appears annoyed at the delay caused by Lord Krishna In another quarter of the garden one could hear lot of shrills of maidens who want to enjoy at the cost of VINODA Lord Krishna's clown-mate. With the proverbial smile on his charming face the Lord arrives accompanied by RUKMINI DEVI. The melodius voice of Satya drags him to her while Rukmini Devi taking pity on Vinoda goes to the group of maidens and frees him. Vinoda heaves a sigh of relief and absconds. The Boy ABHIMANYU shoots a fruit through its reflection in the wate and wishes that VATSALA were there to appreciate his skill in archery Finding Vinoda, Abhi shoots at him, Vinoda practically dies before the arrow comes and prostates in his lap. Appreciating his skill and finding Vatsala standing in the balcony, Vinoda challenges Abhi to shoot the flowers off her hair and before Vinoda finishes his challenge, he finds the arrow returning with the flowers Vatsala is horrified. Balaram her father seeing the arrow taking the flowers comes down and catches Vinoda by the ear who was holding the bow Abhi jocularly tells his mama that it was the Pandava Powers of archery Balarama rebukes Abhi and abuses their art for which Abhi feels much and goes to report to his mother. Vinoda is ordered by Balarama to inform a ladies to be ready for the bath for the next day's solar eclipse. On Abhi's reporting Balarama's behaviour. Subhadra is very much annoyed. Lord Krishna comes there and consoles her but she turns down his request of going with them for the bath. Vinoda with lots of bad omens starts for the palace to wake up the ladies. Nonplussed by not finding any way to wake them up he sits on a parlour but as ill luck would have it he sees two glittering eyes coming in his direction from the dark. Terror stricken, he shouts aloud and drops on sleeping maid servant. Within a minute the whole household is awake and though every one laughs at his cost Vinoda laughs the best because his purpose is served. And in the beautiful lake, all are standing in knee-deep water and are offering Arghyam to the tune of the prayer song of Akrura, Krishna's devotec. At this very time Gaya the Gandharva King passes in the clouds above. The foam from tle mouth of his horse falls in the palm of Krishna who is at prayers. Krishna vows to kill the person who has insulted him. Unaware of the impending danger to his life, Gaya is enjoying the dance of the fairies. The fairies go to garland him but all of a sudden the garland flies up and forms into the Sudarshan which foretells of the fate that is awaiting him at the hands of Krishna. All fly for their lives and Gaya Swoons. While Gaya is lying in the lap of Chitralekha his soul roams about followed by the Sudarshan. Whereever he goes, which ever direction he takes, in water or in cave he finds Lord Krishna appearing before him in one or the other of his Avathars. Finally he finds himself lifted bodily by Hanuman and thrown from the top of a hill. He comes down rolling and all of a sudden the unconcious body of Gaya in Chitralekha's lap comes to life. He narrates his experience while he was in swoon to Chitralekha who also is disturbed very much. On the advice of his Minister Gaya goes to Brahma for help but is denied it. Narada-the-know-all-God comes to his rescue and takes him to Arjuna who gives Gaya his word to protect him before knowing the whole story. Satisfied at the arrangement at this end Narada goes to the court of Krishna and informs him of the protection given to Gaya by Arjuna. Fura- ged at this piece of information Krishna abuses Arjuna. Abhi is offended and ridicules Krishna. Krishna throws reason to the winds and asks Akrura to see Pandavas and find out whether they are going to leave Gaya or fight. Subhadra, Abhi and Vinoda accompany Akrura. Waiting in vain for her Lord, Chitralekha leaves her kingdom in search of her Lord. Akrura's mission of Peace fails, thanks to the genius of Narada, Subhadra also pleads for her brother but prefers to stay with her husband. Enraged at the answer conveyed to him by Akrura, Lord Krishna starts with his troops to teach Pandavas a lesson. Subhadra sees Krishna during the night but Krishna is firm. She gets angry and returning to the camp of Pandavas performs Puja to Gandivam and wears the Kunkuma and puts it to her Lord as well. Both the sides meet on the battlefield. Krishna accuses Arjuna who gets wild and leaves Pasupata. Krishna leaves Sudarshan. Arjuna loosens his arrow. Fire. Thunder, Lightening, Storm, Earth quake. Brahma, Shiva and Narada appear and- SEE THE REST ON THE SILVER SCREEN.
