Like putting a palmyra fruit on a sparrow.

2213. ఊర పిచ్చుక మీద వాడి వజ్రాయుధమా.
Is a sharp Vajraayudha [to be used] on a sparrow?

Vajra or Vajraayudha is the mythological thunderbolt of Indra.
2214. ఊరి జబ్బు చాకలి యెరుగును, వుద్యోగపు జబ్బు బంట్రోతు యెరుగును.
The washerman knows the reduced state of the village; the peon knows the reduction [of his superiors] in office.
2215. ఊరి ముందరికి వచ్చి నా పెండ్లామూ పిల్లలూ యెట్లా వున్నారని అడిగినాడట.
He came to the outskirts of the village and asked "How are my wife and children?" A few yards more would have enabled the man to judge himself. Said the impatience.
2216. ఊరు వున్నది, చిప్ప వున్నది.
There is the village and here is my cup.
Said by a beggar.
