760. గాదెనిండా బియ్యము వుంటే, కరువునా కాలానా నా భార్యనూ పిల్లలనూ నేనే రక్షిస్తానన్నాడట.

- As though possessed of a devil.
764. గారాబము గార్లెకు యేడిస్తే, వీపు దెబ్బ్బలకు యేడుస్తున్నది.
- You are teazing me and crying for cakes and your back is crying for a whipping.
- Said by a father.
765. గాలికి పుట్టి ధూళికి పెరిగినట్టు.
- Born of the wind, and reared up by the dust.
- Said by parents to an ungrateful son, or by a benefactor to an ungrateful dependant.
