1. బేగం హజరత్‌ మహల్‌ ప్రకటన
1858 నంవంబరు 1న ఈస్ట్‌ ఇండియా కంపెనీ పాలనను రద్ధుచేసి, ఇండియా పరిపాలనా బాద్య తను స్వీకరించిన విక్టోరియ రాణి స్వదేశీ పాలకులను, సంస్థానాధీశులను మంచి చేసుకోడానికి ఒక ప్రకటన విడుదల చేసింది.
ఆ ప్రకటనకు ప్రతిగా అవధ్‌ మహారాణి బేగం హజరత్‌ మహల్‌, అవధ్‌ రాజుగా ప్రకంచబడిన తన కుమారుడెన బిర్జిస్‌ ఖదిర్‌ పేరిట ఒక చారిత్రాత్మక ప్రకటన విడుదల చేశారు. ఈ ప్రకటనలో స్వదేశీయుల పట్ల, స్వదేశీ సంస్థానాధీశుల పట్ల, స్వదేశీ పాలకుల స్వదేశీయుల మత విశ్వాసాల పట్ల ఆంగేయులు ఎంత మోసపూరితంగా. ప్రవర్తిస్తున్నారో ప్రశ్నిస్తూ విక్టోరియా ప్రకటనకు ధీటుగా తాను 1858 డిసెంబరు 31న ఒక ప్రకటన విడుదల చేశారు.

- PROCLAMATION
”At this time certain weak-minded, foolish people, have spread a report that the English have forgiven the faults and crimes of the people of Hindoostan. This appears very astonishing, for it is the unvarying custom of the English never to forgive a fault, be it great or small so much so, that if a small offence be committed through ignorance or negligence, they never forgive it.
