2. భాషాశాస్త్ర ప్రయోజనాన్ని వేదం వేంకటరాయశాస్త్రిగారిలాంటి సనాతన పండితులుగూడా 1915 నాటికి గుర్తించారు. “ఇటీవల మహా ప్రాజ్ఞులు పాశ్చాత్య విద్వాంసులు కల్పించిన ఫైలాలజీ (Philology) పేరి సర్వభాషాశబ్దవ్యుత్పత్తి సంబంధాది విమర్శన శాస్త్రముచేత, దివ్యదృష్టి చేతనుంబలె, అద్భుత విషయము అనేకములు గోచరము లైనవి” (పు. 18) ; “కావున, ఈ నూతన శాస్త్రమందు నిష్టాతత్యము వ్యుత్పత్తి సిద్ధికి మహోపకారకము ; ఈ శాస్త్రము శబ్దవ్యుత్పత్తులకు నికషోవలస్థానీయము” (పు. 19) - ఆంధ్ర భాషాసర్వస్వార్హ నియమకతిపయములు.
3. అయితే ఉపయుక్త గ్రంథకరణసభవారు వి. శఠగోపాచార్యులు మొదలైన వారిచేత పరిష్కరింపించి పునర్ముద్రి౦చిన 1856 నాటి భూగోళంలోనే విసంధి పాటించినందున ఈ సభవారామోదించిన నూతనసంస్కారం ఏమీ లేదని చెప్పాలి. (చూ. M. D. p. 18).

"When I say grammar and grammatical forms, I mean the traditional grammar of the Telugu Language and the forms sanctioned by it and employed by modern popular prose writers like Viresalingam and Lakshminarasimham" ... K. L. Rao in his 'Memorandum on Modern Prose', as quoted by Gurajada, M. D. p. 1, " in para 11 he (KLR) says that the new school of linguistic reform has no grammar of its own. Here he probably means at realise on grammar" - G.V. Appa Rao, M.D., p.52.
"The new School pointed out that grammar is not a fixed unchanging scheme but a body of rules deducted from usage : as usage changes, so must grammar change: and when you have the perfect, perpectual, immutable grammar, the language is dead." ...
